Janet Wallace was born 1746 in Lexington, Rockbridge Co, VA and died 1819 in Greenbrier Co, VA.

She married John Beard. He was born 1733 in Ulster, Ireland and died 1808 in Greenbrier Co, VA. He was the son of Thomas Baird.

Their children were:

Elizabeth Beard (born 1783 in VA); married George Poage
